That's why arriving with hair that's fully dry and freshly washed — ideally the night before or early that morning, without conditioner left on the ends — is key to a style that actually holds through heat, humidity, and hours of celebration.
My recommendations before your appointment
Wash your hair the night before or early in the morning. Avoid applying conditioner directly to your scalp, since it can leave hair too slippery to hold a style. If your hair is naturally straight, a blow-dry with a bit of volume at the root makes a big difference in the final result.
