As professionals, we do everything we can to recreate the exact look you're dreaming of — but depending on your skin and hair type or shape, some extra steps or tweaks are usually needed. A trial helps us plan ahead so we can get it exactly right on the big day.
It's also genuinely useful to see the look on yourself, rather than in pictures of someone else. It almost always needs small adjustments to make it truly yours — softer face-framing pieces, repositioning a pony higher or lower, adding a touch of color or lashes to a natural makeup look, and more.
Another reason a trial matters: once we've nailed the look together, you walk into your wedding day relaxed, trusting we can pull it off again. That ease shows up in how smoothly the whole day flows. If you decide to skip a trial, I'd suggest writing out every question you have and either emailing them over or booking a quick video consultation beforehand, just so we're on the same page.
